Empaqueverde and Deraiz Chile start an alliance to promote the composting of waste and unused compostable bags.

The new collaboration is part of the sustainability efforts of both companies, a plan that sets a series of actions and goals in the short, medium and long term in environmental matters.

The Alliance consists of Green Packaging being able to deposit its compostable waste that is part of the production process at the Deraiz Chile compostable plant. In addition, customers or users who no longer occupy the bag and who cannot perform home composting may also deposit unused bags at the Deraiz Chile composting plant.

Jilmer Vigo, Co-founder of Green Packaging assures that "we are very proud to have established a collaboration with Deraiz Chile, an alliance that will help our Clients and users to compost their unused bags. As a company we know that there is still a lot to do, but we are committed to continue taking firm steps to continue advancing and generate a positive impact”.
